How does the roommate matching service work?
Most of our guests travel solo, which is half of the fun. We make it easy and affordable with our roommate matching service.
If you would like to share a room, we will find a roommate for you at no additional charge, provided that your balance is paid in full 90 days prior to departure .In the event, that a roommate can not be secured, you will not be assessed a single supplement fee as long as your balance is paid in full 90 days prior to departure. For bookings made less than 90 days before departure we do not guarantee a roommate.
We will contact you, 90 days prior to departure in the event that a room mate is not available. At that time you will have a choice to have your deposit refunded in full at that time or agree to accept the additional charge for a private room, should a room share not be found before the trip’s departure. At 60 days before departure , when the complete balance is due, 50% of your deposit would be refunded should elect not to travel.
Solomate Travel is not responsable for any air fare or land costs should you elect not to travel or if a roomshare cannot be provided.
Travelers will be asked to fill out a questionnaire allowing us to match them up with someone else on the trip; roommates are assigned by gender, interests, and smoking preference. Male room shares are not guaranteed, kindly contact a representative for more details.
Availability of single rooms is limited. However, if you would like your own room, we will do our best to make that happen at a small additional charge.
